New CD Wingmakers by Soulfood	WINGMAKERS is an album by soulfood inspired by and a realization of the Wingmakers project, whose website(www.wingmakers.com) beguiles visitors with the haunting statement "Nearly 27 years ago, mysterious artifacts were found that led to one of the most intriguing scientific and anthropological discoveries ever made." Popularized on Art Bell's controversial broadcasts, the Wingmakers website now averages over one million hits a month as visitors learn of 23 chambers and connecting tunnels hollowed deep within a huge, rock structure called the Ancient Arrow site in a remote canyon of northern New Mexico. Inside these chambers were found hundreds of pages of philosophy, photographs, poetry, new physics, music and artifacts. A time capsule was also opened, revealing that the items were designed and built by a future version of humankind who were adept at interactive time travel. They called themselves, WingMakers. "Soulfood was contacted to work on the Wingmakers because of our respect for all indigenous cultures and their relationship to contemporary music," notes Soulfood's DJ Free. DJ Free was given confidential information by the Wingmakers collective; this led to several years of decoding and processing the material. "I became involved in the production, arrangement and engineering of the material that became known as Chambers 11-17," he explains. "Soulfood realized this material as separate music tracks which comprise WINGMAKERS."
