Welcoming Change By Fran Hafey/ Mysti
At this time... the world is changing drastically and all living things within her. I don't sense these changes as "bad" but just as change, and when we let all the pieces fall into place we find
that usually they're good.
Often people are moving at such a fast pace and want everything
"NOW" they fail to let the changes flow and even wait for the
outcome. Listening and paying attention to our intuition and our gut feelings are important. When we have things coming at us from all directions and we don't feel we can even breathe, that's a perfect time to re-center and
strive for balance. We need to have our mind quiet enough to be
able to sense, not just with our normal five senses, but our
extra special ones too, what we're supposed to do and the path to
follow.
I've recently had days when I thought I couldn't go another step
and that I would surely fall right on my face if I didn't rest or
change some things in my life. I've learned not to be rash but to
take things as they come and wait on Spirit to guide me or give
me more to go on. I pay attention to my intuition and rest if my
body needs to rest and relax when my mind needs to relax.
When it comes to instances when we can't run and hide somewhere,
and there are things that just have to be done... then we need to
recharge and take it head on. Recharging can be done in many
ways...whatever is best for you personally.
It could be listening to some nice music, cleaning house,
gardening, going for a drive, meditating, getting out with
friends and just letting things go, and coming back to them at a
later time, reading a good book, going for a long walk, listening
to the birds outside, going to the movies, to flea markets... and
so on, but I think you get my drift here. Whatever way you have
of letting go for the moment, recharging, regrouping and
listening to your inner voice on what to do and how to go about
it, is the best way to find your balance once again.
When you feel "different" from your normal self from all the
changes within us and around us, remember to take the time to
recharge, center and pay attention to our inner voice and tackle
what needs to be done with a new light on it all. I know I do and
life sure does seem a lot better amongst the chaos when I do so.
I'm welcoming the changes in my life and taking one step at a
time. It's not always easy, of course, because some of the
changes can be painful, confusing and not clear at the moment.
Some changes are big, really big and they take some time to get
used to.
People say to go with the flow, but even that isn't always easy,
so I find myself keeping busy and keeping faith that all things
are truly going the right direction. We all have our moments when
we need to cry out to Spirit and release what we may feel and
cleanse our spirit.
It really is true when we hear, "tomorrow will be a better day"
... because nothing ever stands still... there is always change
and I do my best to welcome it.
