Mother of Many By Fran Hafey/Mysti

Mother's day is one day a year we celebrate our cherished
Mothers...the women that gave birth to us physically and brought
us into this world or those that raised us. We may think of them
all year round and all our lives but how do we show our love?

Women... Mothers... carry us within their bodies, giving us what
we need to grow and survive. Within the womb, we're nourished and
protected. We take nutrients from our Mothers as we grow in
strength. Our Mothers gladly do this for us, because of love.

We Mothers... are like Mother Earth. We often give until it
hurts... many times. We want to see our children laughing, happy
and fulfilled. We teach them well and then we let them go...
living their own lives trusting, but remembering the many times
we watched as they took first steps... always connected.

Mother Earth also gives until it hurts and also wants to see us
laughing, happy and fulfilled. She teaches us many lessons each
day, each year. We're connected and just like with our Earth
Mothers, Mother earth also deserves to be loved, cherished, cared
for, pampered and respected... and she will also live a long and
fruitful life.

We live and grow within a womb of Motherly love, called earth,
sky and Universe, always learning and changing on our path of
life.

What have you done for our "Mothers, recently? Have you given
from your heart or from the pocket? Do you give willingly or
because you feel it's something you must do. When we give from
the heart all things grow in abundance and prosperity.

Take the time today to meditate on loving yourself, your Mother
and Mother Earth. Forgiveness, loving, releasing old baggage,
cleaning up the old and moving forward with the new, being the
bigger and better person and just saying "I love you" and
everything is all right. Knowing the first step to love is just
the beginning, but what a wonderful new beginning and adventure
lies ahead of us.

Today can be the first day of a wonderful new birth from the womb
of love we are all growing within. When we believe that everyday
is a new day and a new beginning... we soon begin to see, feel
and know what a difference it makes in our lives.
