Do you Feel Lucky? By Fran Hafey

With St. Patrick's Day, we see green clovers and leprechauns,
pots of gold and rainbows. I have heard the phrase "having the
luck of the Irish!"

Do you feel lucky today?

Personally, I don't believe in luck.

I have never been one to leave things to chance, gamble or rub a
rabbit's foot for luck.

I do believe, however, that we can have intent on what it is we
need or desire in our lives, set our minds and hearts on that
idea and reach for it.

Many people will ask me "but I did that and I didn't get what I
wanted."

Like prayer, sometimes, we may pray or ask for something that is
not from our hearts or spirit, but it's from our ego. All prayers
and pleas are answered, they just may not be the answers we
wanted or expected.

When we have so much to learn and follow our path of chosen
belief,
we find out that as the old saying goes, "be careful what you ask
for, you just might get it," does ring true often.

Many times, I have asked Spirit to grant me a need or desire, to
find out that something better may be waiting for me.
I need to have patience and believe that if we don't receive what
we ask for, there is a very big reason. Remember to try and see
the bigger picture for our lives.

So, I choose to not wait on luck. I stay busy and manifest much
of my own reality. Working with Spirit on my chosen path. I am
responsible for my own happiness and well,...
the leprechaun is funny,
the clover is refreshing
and the rainbow is a promise
that we deserve all good things
and that pot of gold?...

I have it right here in my heart.
