Buddhism In Our Daily Life Lecture 2
In last week's discussion of the concept of birth and death, the one-life theory and the multi-life theory were introduced. I also used a familiar natural phenomenon, the multi-form of H2O, to illustrate my belief that the multi-life theory taught by Hinduism and Buddhisn is closer to the truth than the one-life theory. We found that H2O is a good analogy for the human soul... Any thoughts?

If there were ever a stereotype of the "laughing saint," Sogyal Rinpoche would fit it perfectly. It's not that he's a comic, it's just that he makes you want to smile, maybe even laugh.
